Setting up Port Forwarding on a Pace 4111N Gateway (combination DSL Modem and Wireless Router)
Select Settings - Firewall - Applications, Pinholes, and DMZ.
1) Select a computer (the computer hosting the WeatherCat server)
2) Edit firewall settings for this computer
- Choose "Allow individual applications"
- Choose "Add a new user-defined application.
New user-defined application:
- Application Profile Name: WeatherCat TCP - Protocol: TCP - Port (or Range): From: 49250 To: 49254 - Protocol Timeout: (leave blank) - Map to Host Port: (leave blank) - Application Type: (leave blank) - Add to List - add to Hosted Applications - Save
- Application Profile Name: WeatherCat UDP - Protocol: UDP - Port (or Range): From: 49250 To: 49254 - Protocol Timeout: (leave blank) - Map to Host Port: (leave blank) - Application Type: (leave blank) - Add to List - add to Hosted Applications - Save
